The new “temporary pay reduction” program will cut salaries by 5 percent from Sept. 11 through the end of the year by designating four new unpaid holidays for workers — Oct. 10, Nov. 23, Dec. 23 and Dec. 28, according to an internal memo acquired by the Houston Chronicle.
