Less than two weeks after Exxon Mobil became the first major oil company to agree to report plastic pellet pollution to investors, another major petrochemical company, Chevron Phillips Chemical, has followed suit under pressure from activist shareholders.The Woodlands-based joint venture of Phillips 66 and Chevron Corp. will start reporting on plastic pellet spills as the petrochemical industry comes under pressure for rising plastic waste.
