Rep. Alexandria Ocasio Cortez, D-NY, and Sen. Ed Markey, D-Mass., are expected to introduce a resolution outlining a 10-year plan to eliminate U.S. greenhouse has emissions through measures including shifting the U.S. power grid entirely to “clean, renewable, and zero-emission energy sources,” while building electric vehicle infrastructure to cut greenhouse gas emissions from transportation.
