During the month of October, we saw a few more companies make a push for a position in the Delaware Basin. It appears that many companies are interested in obtaining some sort of position in this prolific basin and are willing to pay a premium to do so. I would anticipate a few more entries into the Delaware Basin over the coming months in the form of acquisitions and possibly mergers.
