Marathon Petroleum executives said Tuesday they’ve initiated exploratory talks with Irving-Texas-based ExxonMobil and Houston-based Plains All American Pipeline to combine efforts on a Permian-to-Gulf Coast pipeline to maximize capital efficiency.
