Oxy agrees to sell Anadarko's Africa assets for $8.8B to Total

Occidental Petroleum said Sunday it would sell the African assets of Anadarko Petroleum for $8.8 billion to French energy giant Total if Oxy wins in the bidding war for Anadarko.
