Energy Secretary Rick Perry said Thursday that the European Union was going to become “a major purchaser of U.S. LNG. Speaking at the Dominion Energy Cove Point LNG terminal in coastal Maryland, which began operations in January, Perry said the agreement between President Donald Trump and European Commissioner Jean Claude Juncker set the stage to increase U.S. LNG exports.
