Phillips 66’s profits ticked up 6 percent in the second quarter, boosted by higher margins in crude oil refining and more volume flowing through its pipelines and natural gas liquid terminals.
The Houston refiner reported net income was $1.43 billion in the second quarter, compared to $1.3 billion the same time last year. Its earnings per a share were $3.02, beating Wall Street expectations of by 32 cents.
