Secretary of State Mike Pompeo called on oil companies Tuesday to aid the Trump administration in its bid to increase U.S. oil and gas exports to replace supplies from countries including Russia, China and Iran. Speaking at the IHS CeraWeek by IHS Markit conference, America’s top diplomat said those countries and others were trying to use energy as a weapon to gain power over other nations.
