Phillip 66 became the latest refiner to report soaring 2018 earnings as a refining bonanza lifted the Houston energy company’s full-year profits to record levels. Although the full-year net income numbers were rosy, profits in the fourth quarter were down to $2.2 billion in the fourth quarter from $3.2 billion the same time last year.
