The White House said Friday it had notified Congress it plans to sign a North American trade deal with Canada and Mexico, calling talks with Canada “constructive.” After a year of negotiations President Donald Trump had set a Friday deadline for the United States and Canada to reach a deal on the North Agreement Free Trade Agreement, following the announcement of a preliminary deal with Mexico on Monday.
