Valero Energy’s renewable diesel refinery near New Orleans is about to see a $1.1 billion upgrade.Valero subsidiary Diamond Alternative Energy and its partner Darling Ingredients will invest a combined total of $1.1 billion to expand their joint-venture Diamond Green Diesel refinery in Norco, Louisiana, the company and the Louisianan state government announced recently.
