Three years after world leaders met in Paris for a landmark agreement to try and slow climate change they are sitting down again to figure out how to actually do it. The so-called COP 24 conference kicks off in the Polish city of Katowice today, beginning what is expected to be a difficult two-weeks of negotiations to decide the international rules that will guide and monitor country’s progress in reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
